The Greenwich English College project was developed on 2017, the main challenges where: A stagnant website, frustrating user experience and slow to load, outdated technology (not responsive, coded with tables), lack of Martech integrations, inexistent social networks connectivity and a full rebrand previously made not consistent with the site. The main requirements were transparency and friendliness. It was imperative for the project to be functional in a content management system.
Once we got the structure of the information and the competitors analysis identifying common trends and design patterns, I started Sketching and wireframing always keeping in mind the guidelines, then working together with the marketing team, community manager, academics, student services and the development company representatives. We iterated, and based on the results I built the mockups and the technical literature, so the developers and the people in charge of the updates in the future have the right tool and guide to do it.
The website has been improved in terms of the layout, design and functionality. Some of the new features include: - A bio for all the current teachers and area of expertise. - Plenty of academic and helpful documents ready to be viewed from the website - Search and filter functions. - Multilingual. - All the available courses were updated - Management College integration - Connected to social networks - Refreshing media and project blog sites - Combination of marketing tools through HubSpot
After the Launch, The site positioned Greenwich straight at the top over other competitors thanks to its reliability, usability and quality of content, plenty of modules easy to be edited and delivered on HubSpot, extraordinarily helpful for academics and the marketing team.
